Coming off of a much desired win in Boise at the Nightfire Nationals, Kris Krabill is ready for another chance at the Nitro Funny Car Championship Title. It all comes down to the California Hot Rod Reunion in Bakersfield, CA.
Krabill is currently sitting 64 points behind Steven Densham. The Bardahl sponsored car will also be making up a rain out race from Mission, BC earlier this year during the qualifying sessions for Nitro Funny Car. This will give Krabill opportunity to leverage another race and a possible points gain. Krabill has the bye first round after qualifying #1 up there.
Krabill has had a strong start to the year and is very confident is his driving ability. Kris said, “the car is running good right now, we have fine tuned a few things and are seeing consistent positive results.” Could 2015 be the year the Austin & O’Brien funny car takes home a championship? With support from Bardahl, Darton Sleeves, Bucky’s & Benchmark RV, it just may be.
