After a tough day Of Saturday qualifying, the Austin & O’Brien funny car had a nerve wracking first round pairing against Don Nelsons “California Hustler”. Kris ended up in the fifth qualifying position and Cory Lee in fourth.
Not only did Kris Krabill and the Bardahl/Dayton Superior sponsored Northwest Hitter take the win first round, they also set the track record running a 5.67 at 248 MPH.
Kris will be taking on Don Hudson and the Sizemore Construction team in the second round. Ryan Hodgson and Dan Horan will face off on the other side of the ladder. Stay tuned for more updates throughout the day!
