Kris noted, “We’ve gone through everything to prep for this race and the whole Pedaler crew has worked hard. We’re all focused on doing our respective jobs at Cordova.” Having made the trip last year, the Pedaler…
Another great side by side as the past champ Kris Krabill wins with a 5.78/247 to a very game 5.82 252 by La Charite.
Anaheim, CA — The recent NHRA California Hot Rod Reunion was a real dog fight, as 38 Nostalgia Funny Cars battled for the coveted 16 qualified spots. But defending event champion, Kris Krabill, was ready for the challenge behind the butterfly wheel of Gary Turner’s striking “Pedaler” Plymouth Arrow. When qualifying had wrapped up, Kris found himself in the ninth position, which is uncharacteristic for this veteran team. Krabill noted, “We had a few minor issues crop up during qualifying, but we still put up a 5.885/243.50 shot.” After the final session, this event featured the first all 5-second Nostalgia…
The big show contingent made their presence known this past weekend at the 20th California Hot Rod Reunion with all three big show competitors qualifying for the record breaking 5 second field. These guys came out to have fun and to their credit both of the new cars of “Worsham Racing” and “Head Racing” both qualified along with the “Teachers Pet” of Densham. Ron Capps in the “Worsham Racing” Plymouth Arrow qualified number 8 with a 5.840 @ 240.64. Unfortunately Capps didn’t survive his first round matchup with James Day in the “War Eagle” Pontiac Firebird. Chad Head in the…

ANAHEIM, CA — When Gary Turner’s “Pedaler” Nostalgia Funny Car pulls through the gates at Boise, Idaho’s legendary Firebird Raceway, its driver, Kris Krabill, has a unique opportunity to make history. He’s battled to the winner’s circle at the prestigious Pepsi Nightfire Nationals for the last two years in a row and this weekend marks the 39th Annual extravaganza. No other driver has ever won there back-to-back in Funny Car. Also, John Force holds the track record with three wins in Funny Car at Boise, so if Krabill pulls off the “three-peat,” he ties Force for the most Funny Car…
ANAHEIM, CA — Kris Krabill arrived at Cordova Dragway Park’s Nostalgiafest for the second year in a row, and expectations were high. After a slow start in 2010, the Pedaler AA/FC team worked diligently to eliminate the causes of their uncharacteristic results. They knew they’d be in tough against some of the quickest nostalgia Fuel Coupes in the Midwest, competing in Cordova’s DRO AA/FC Challenge, Presented by Lucas Oil. Tuner Cory Lee did his homework evaluating the atmosphere and track conditions. In hot and humid weather, Kris carded a 6.00/239mph lap to qualify number one. Due to an odd number…
